Designing for excellence: New office and Experience Gallery for Arcelor Mittal

We kickstarted the year 2023 with an exciting project for Arcelor Mittal Design & Engineering Centre Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata, West Bengal. The goal was to design a functional and inspiring new office space that not only accommodated employees but also included an Experience Gallery that reflected the company's ethos.

To navigate these constraints, Godrej Interio implemented a tightly managed execution strategy. Teams worked in two shifts to optimise output within permitted work hours. Regular follow-ups with vendors and suppliers ensured that deliveries remained on schedule. Prior to execution, 3D models of key areas, including the office and the Experience Gallery, were developed to provide the client with a comprehensive visual preview. This minimised ambiguity and streamlined approvals. Coordination between the Interior and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) teams was seamless, significantly reducing potential rework.

Despite the challenges, the project was completed on time and without any major incidents. The Godrej Interio Design & Build team demonstrated exceptional collaboration and agility, with safety protocols strictly followed throughout. The successful delivery reinforced client trust and showcased the team's ability to meet complex requirements under tight deadlines.
